From 26 March to 21 July 2024, Louvre Abu Dhabi will host the new international exhibition “From Kalila wa Dimna to La Fontaine: Travelling through Fables “. Co-organised by the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Louvre Abu Dhabi and France Muséums, the exhibition takes its inspiration from illustrated fables and ushers us into the world of animal tales. France Muséums deploys its mediation and production teams to devise a presentation focused on the visitor’s experience, enriched by a variety of multi-sensory interpretation devices.

View of the exhibition Cartier, Islamic inspiration and Modern Design


Co-organised by Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the Musée du Louvre and France Muséums, with the support of Cartier, the new temporary exhibition “Cartier, Islamic Inspiration and Modern Design” will be presented at Louvre Abu Dhabi from 16 November 2023 to 24 March 2024. 180-degree installation for the exhibition Letters of light presented at Louvre Abu Dhabi. Exhibition and interpretive design

Letters of Light: The role of interpretive design in creating the visitor experience

Jointly organised by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Louvre Abu Dhabi and France Muséums, the new temporary exhibition Letters of Light is being presented at Louvre Abu Dhabi from 13 September 2023 to 14 January 2024. Around 245 exhibits have been brought together for this occasion, including 162 manuscripts, as well as archaeological objects, paintings, drawings, engravings and sculptures and a contemporary artwork. The exhibition, which occupies a total floor area of 1,400 square metres, presents civilizational, textual and linguistic histories which are intertwined and raise significant challenges in terms of sharing and mediation.
