STUDY OF MENTON MUSEUMS’ TOURIST STRATEGY: AIMING FOR A NEW VISITOR EXPERIENCE  

In partnership with the SCET Group, a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts and a public interest company offering consultancy and support for regional and local development, France Muséums has supported Menton draw up the overall principles of a tourism strategy for the town’s museums by investigating a new visitor experience.  

With this in mind, France Muséums and the SCET Group have carried out a complete diagnostic: cultural offer, analysis of the sites and urban routings, prospective diagnostic evaluation, qualitative and quantitative audits, analysis of the current economic fundamentals and optimisation levers, forecasting the visitor experience and destination storytelling, segmentation of actual and potential publics, outlining museum itineraries and establishing a roadmap of the strategy.
