Specially designed capacity building programmes relevant to the specific context of Louvre Abu Dhabi

For the opening of Louvre Abu Dhabi in 2017, France Muséums developed and rolled out a specially designed 360° capacity building programme for professionals involved in running the museum covering all relevant core skills (management, collection management, visitor experience, educational programmes and guided visits, surveillance and security, etc.).

More broadly, France Muséums supports Louvre Abu Dhabi’s HR and skills development strategy for all professionals working at the museum, in particular Emirati staff so that the museum can be fully run by locally sourced personnel in the medium term.
