As part of the  event Les Rencontres organized by France Muséums on January 15th, 2022 at the France Pavilion Expo 2020 Dubai, France Muséums, in partnership with Chargeurs Museum Solutions, is organizing a masterclass dedicated to museum professionals.

Aurore Tisserand, Chief registrar - loans & acquisitions at France Muséums, explains what rotation of artworks in permanent exhibitions consists of and the role it plays in conservation. In the very specific case of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, rotations take place in the permanent galleries of the museum.

As an international museum consultancy, France Muséums strives to renew its expertise in order to offer the public ever more innovative and accessible tours. For the exhibition Dragon and Phoenix, Centuries of Exchange between China and the Islamic World, France Muséums was in charge of designing and producing the, scenography, signage and mediation and provided support on the scientific conception. Futhermore, France Muséums coordinated the transport and installation of the 250 works of art.

Born from a partnership between Louvre Abu Dhabi, Centre Pompidou and France Muséums, this unprecedented exhibition was able to see light despite the global pandemic thanks to the commitment of our teams and many professionals involved in the project.
